Wrap up your First Friday experience at Momentum Studios for After Hours, featuring incredible visual and performance artists based in Anchorage. It’s a relaxed, come-as-you-are space where you can experience a diverse array of some of Anchorage’s best artists—good vibes, great art, all up close and personal.

Michael Holtz is a longtime musician who loves to collaborate with various performance communities. Since the 1990s, he’s been part of Anchorage’s music scene, performing in numerous bands as well composing original music for dance. He’s created scores for the UAA Dance Ensemble and has had a longstanding creative relationship with Momentum Dance Collective, composing and performing for their work over many years  

While best known as a drummer, Michael currently plays lead guitar in the band Pikal, who will release a new album this summer, and he occasionally steps into the spotlight as a solo singer-songwriter. This solo show is a personal one, featuring some of Mike’s favorite tunes and a few of his favorite dancers for a laid back night of music and movement.
