Kate Sidro

Kate Sidro is a Filipino-American born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Kate began her dance journey as a child through traditional Filipino folk dance. She continued that journey with Dance West at West Anchorage High School under Lori Bradford from 2013 through 2017, with a focus on hip-hop and some contemporary/modern. After graduating, Kate took a brief hiatus from dance.

Kate continued to attend a variety of contemporary, modern, and ballet classes throughout the years, before returning to dance with Sunlight Collaboration in 2024 and performing at UAA’s Dance in Concert in 2026. She is also training for pole dancing at both Cathedral Pole & Dance and Nectar Movement Haus. Kate has been pursuing and enjoying different forms of dance ever since. She is looking forward to growing her dance journey, and is excited to join Momentum for their 19th season.
