Momentum Dance Collective’s Season 18 invites you home, to our home studio, into events across our community, and into shared experiences rooted in care. Join us for performances that are vibrant, collaborative, and full of heart—where you don’t just watch, you belong.
Momentum Dance Collective’s Season 18 continues our commitment to bold collaboration and community-centered art. We kick things off in September with Dance Film Night - a special First Friday After Hours event at Momentum Studios. Coming in October we bring you Shine, our annual dance party and fundraiser, where movement and music light up the night. In February, we return to The Nave with our featured work of the season, an immersive performance rooted in themes of nature, care, and collective joy. Momentum Studios remains at the heart of our season, hosting After Hours, a monthly series blending gallery openings and intimate performances, along with artist residencies, rentals, and workshops that give local creatives a platform to experiment and share their work.
Throughout the year, we’ll also step beyond the studio into partnerships with other artists, community collaborators, and unexpected spaces, continuing to expand what it means to experience dance in Anchorage.
