Season 9| Bare
On the verge of a decade of dance in Alaska, Momentum looks at this season as a way to strip down and discover what continues to 'move' us. Continuing a tradition of community engagement and discovery with events like, Breaking Ground (now in its 8th iteration) as well as Dance Film Night, celebrating internationally awarded dance films as well as local filmmakers, the company will continue to dive into the process of how dances are created and the ways in which we connect to our community. The Season 9 full length production, BARE, will explore the tragicomedy of what it means to live day to day, the struggles we face, and the humor that gets us through the tough stuff.
