Latin Styles September 19 - October 10
In Latin Styles with Stephanie Griffin, dancers will explore the melodic structures and the rhythmic character of Latin music genres such as Salsa and Cha-Cha-Cha, and the body's interpretation of such. We then meld the elegance and sensuality of such movement with a contemporary dance vocabulary of bold physicality; a fusion of Modern, Contemporary and Latin movement styles.

Hip Hop October 17 - November 7
Irenerose Castillo In Hip Hop with Irenerose Castillo will incorporate different fundamentals of hip-hop moves, including popping, pop-locking, freezes, floor work, and gliding. Her dances are often a challenging combination of fluid body movements and isolations, as well as high-energy, hard-hitting street dance. Overall, students are exposed to both the old-school and new-school styles of hip-hop, all while grooving riginal hip-hop and the latest mainstream music.
Katherine Cunningham In Hip Hop with Kat Cunningham, dancers and movers will explore hard-hitting hip-hop movement with the retro-stylings of funk. The hop-hop movement will incorporate isolations, fluid transitions, and lyrical association. This class will delve in discovering rhythms in contemporary funk hip-hop music and constructing set choreography. Additionally, the class will engage in canons, group work and freestyle. Beginners and intermediate dancers are welcomed.

Modern November 14 & 21
Beth Daly In Intermediate Modern with Beth Daly, dancers will be concentrate on building fluidity in movement, strengthening the core, as well as giving much attention to technique. With those focuses in mind, dancers can then strengthen the way they present contemporary material given by the teacher, as well as material given to them by others in the class. The class will explore how the music makes us feel, and how we can express it with our bodies. Each class will begin with a full-body warm-up and continue with movement across the floor. The class will include some improvisation with and without a focus or outline. A combination of movement will be given, practiced, "fine-tuned," and performed by the end of each class.
Becky Kendall In Intermediate Modern with Becky Kendall , dancers will explore contemporary movement styles with a focus on how the use of breath with the connection to the body is essential in all movement, from the most subtle to the most grand. A thorough warm-up will allow dancers to explore rhythm and musicality while incorporation yoga and modern release technique as well as adaptations from ballet. Increasing strength and correct body alignment will be stressed. Class phrase material will involve floor and upside-down work, leaping and turning, and the use of suspension and release. The class will motivate dancers and movers to find their artistic voice while learning from each other, taking risks with momentum, playing with choreography and experimenting with movement invention. This class is suitable for people with some dance experience but will encourage all movers to progress at their own pace.

Contemporary Jazz December 5 & 12
In Contemporary Jazz with Jessie Embley will include focus on positions, turns, jumps, & leaps, as well as elements of dance conditioning. With an emphasis on musicality and creating an overall visual picture, the class culminates in a choreographed combination to contemporary dance music, which gets the students dancing and having fun! This class will cover jazz fundamentals for the beginning jazz dancer, but will be taught at an intermediate level. While some students have no prior dance training, others will have several years of experience. Students will advance with their own ability levels through center work & progressions. This class will be a mixture of various techniques using upbeat and popular music.
